Kwikcare is about delivering the highest standard of service and it starts with our response time to your query. For over 17 years we have been continuously impressing our clients with our quick response to their urgent shifts and 95% coverage for very last minute shifts. We are able to help out should a permanent staff call in sick at the 99th hour or have emergencies above your control by sending out quickly a carefully selected, trained and support staff.

Why we are an innovative and nimble recruitment agency?

1. We recruit staff carefully and we offer candidate care too

Kwikcare goes to great lengths to make sure that only the most suitable applicants are employed. We carry out thorough checks with Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to ensure each candidate is fully eligible to work. In-depth interviews enable us to assess experience and aptitude. We particularly look for a positive attitude and caring nature.

We are also solving the problem for candidates, where Recruiters certainly have a bad name, and agencies are frequently bad mouthed for their reliance on hard sales techniques. Candidates often feel as though they’re not heard, and worse, that they’re only a number, fulfilling a recruiter’s quota for placements , we ensure to follow 7 points:

    • Respond,
    • Not keep candidates waiting,
    • Manage expectations,
    • Return phone calls,
    • Tell them the bad news,
    • Shut up and listen a little,
    • Give a little

2. Full training and hands on experience

All carers undergo a comprehensive training programme and may have the opportunity to undertake an NVQ/diploma in Health and Social Care qualifications. This ensures they are qualified to carry out their work in a thoughtful, professional and safe manner. Items covered include:

• Moving & Handling • Medication • Communication Skills
• Health & Safety • First Aid • Food Hygiene
• Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson’s Disease
• Communication & Sensory Impairment • Behaviour
• Equality & Diversity • Person Centred Planning

We believe in further training and many of our staff go on to achieve a higher NVQ levels.
Finally, new carers gain valuable ‘hands on’ experience by pairing -up with our experienced care mentors on their daily rounds for couple of weeks.

3. Backed by dedicated management

Carers are supported by a management team with a wealth of experience. All managers are trained to NVQ level 5 and so are fully qualified to assess and plan care solutions for clients. They are dedicated to ensuring all those we care for receive the best possible service.
