provision of semi-independent accommodation and support for those eligible or relevant 16-18 year olds who are ready to live semi-independently, with support, in preparation for transition to independence

customer focused and personal approach for high quality care

Our environments provide everyone in our care a home to feel safe in and a chance to develop their lives with optimism and enthusiasm. By providing a complete continuity of care through positive therapeutic and behavioural approaches, Kwikfix  provides extensive support for young adults to achieve their personal best.

We offer a complete pathway designed to reduce levels of 1:1 support leading to supported living

Our placement objectives include:

Our referral process – ensuring that each young person is matched rigorously, to the correct service type: this maximizes the potential for placement stability and the right home provides the right service to suit a young person’s needs and manage the risks that they present.

Our homes are tiered in respect of the level of acuity they deal with, the staffing ratio provided and consequently the tier of therapeutic support they require. Each geographic region has a robust operational structure, consisting of Regional Managers, supported by Kwikfix central quality and governance teams

Care Leavers 16+ and 18 Years

Our homes for care leavers focus on providing the best possible semi-independent care and encouragement in education, training and employment opportunities for young people aged 16+ and 18 years old as we prepare them for adult life.

The homes offer shared accommodation and each resident is provided with their own private room whilst being able to use communal areas with internet access.

Each young person has a care programme specifically tailored to meet their needs which gradually increases their independence in a safe and consistent manner. Cambian staff make full use of existing networks within the community such as Connexions, colleges, community police teams and local employers.

The residents have access to a dedicated team who are on hand 24 hours a day to offer guidance and support as needed.
